Ten years ago Michigan Football placekicker, Phil Brabbs, made a game winning field goal against top rated Washington in front of 110,000 fans in the Big House. The play lives on today as one of the great moments in Michigan Football history and has brought him attention through ESPN, Sports Illustrated and most recently on NBC in their segment on the Confederacy of Kickers. More than the attention, the play has given Phil hope to take on a tremendous fight with a blood cancer, Multiple Myeloma, that he was diagnosed with five years ago at the rare age of just 28. Phil has chosen to kick this cancer and live with passion to inspire others. Phil founded the Cancer Kickers Foundation to help raise awareness and funding to help fight Multiple Myeloma cancer, as is focused on helping others dealing with this disease stay positive and live a full and healthy life. Phil is from Midland, MI, resides in Ann Arbor, MI and has a beautiful wife and three young children, Ocean (7), Iris (5) and Ruby (3).
