Elizabeth Ann Johnson
Elizabeth Donnelly-Johnson, MBA and MSC, has served as the Program Coordinator for the Alzheimer’s Association, Michigan Great Lakes Chapter in its West Shore Region for the past two years. However, she started with the Association volunteering at a couple of local fundraisers - Blondes vs. Brunettes and the Hope Ride - when an open position for a part-time position became available in Muskegon.
Elizabeth’s education includes an MBA from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Masters in Science, Communications from Grand Valley State University in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Prior to working with the Association, Elizabeth worked in the banking and financial industry where she developed her relationship skills to assist with people’s needs in her community. While working, she was also an avid volunteer in multiple organizations: American Heart Association, March of Dimes, Junior Achievement, United Way Captain, and treasurer of a Heartside Neighborhood located in underserved population in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Elizabeth’s position allows her to provide educational programs on the disease, resources and information and support programs to Mason, Muskegon, Newaygo, Oceana and Lake counties. While working part-time for the Association, she is also an adjunct instructor for Muskegon Community College and works at the Muskegon Winter Sports Complex assisting with their outreach and marketing for special groups and events.
