Bill Parravano "The Knee Pain Guru"
Bill Parravano is an international author, speaker, and teacher. He wrote “Stop Your Knee Pain Now” and “The Comfort Zone”. He’s been working with knee pain sufferers since 1999. He’s spent a tremendous amount of time researching pain management, pain elimination, and a full working understanding of the body and all it’s movements. Bill uses a very “hands on”approach when it comes to working with his clients. His dedication is apparent in both his work and his attitude - he is extremely motivated to help others learn (and apply) their own body’s healing potential. Bill has also been applying a very advanced understanding of Systema (a Russian Martial Arts program) in profound ways, since the year 2000. The breathing techniques from this practice prove to be incredibly beneficial. Bill has completed over 2000 hours of training in Ortho Bionomy®; this extensive training in bodywork has given him untold leverage when it comes to understanding the body and how it relates to pain. Bill has also studied the various movements of the body in order understand how movement affects change in the nervous system. The nervous system is an area of strong focus for Bill. His research has enabled him to help numerous clients reach their pain free goals. Bill is not only a pioneer for alternative options to knee replacement surgery, he is also breaking new ground when it comes to the natural healing of the body - especially in relation to the knees. Bill still spends much of his time in research and study, as the learning process never ends; he continues to apply cutting edge techniques and methods as a result. Bill is always looking for and studying how the body can naturally heal itself - this is a continuous process as technology is ever changing.
