About Bob Dillaber
Bob Dillaber has a BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and a MA in Vocational Rehabilitation from Wayne State University. Following the loss of the job he loved, and the structure it provided, he was caught up in a recurrent cycle of depression and mania. Fortunately, he found treatment through the publicly funded community mental health system. Since then, for 13 years, he has led a support group for individuals with depressive and bipolar disorders at Royal Oak (MI) William Beaumont Hospital. He does this he says because: "When you have been to the brink yourself, your arms are always open to those who struggle as you did".
