Extremism Harms Relationships
Today we're talking with Rev. Guy Lynch, of Beaverton, Oregon, about the damage done to relationships by the right-wing extremists of Christianity. In their refusal to look at their own shortcomings they project them onto all others and make them less than themselves. And while we must be loving towards them we must also set very clear boundaries as to what they are allowed to say to us or not. The lack of compassion is the hallmark of extreme Christianity. It is their refusal to practice what Jesus taught that takes them far away from what they claim.
