Wise Women Speak
Today's show is inspiring and uplifting and all about the wisdom of women and their presence in the world. Joining us today is documentary film maker Joni Steele Kimberlin, whose film Get Real! Wise Women Speak has won the All Audience Award at the Soho Film Fest, the Mission Award at Miami Women's International Film Festival, the Audience Award at the LA Awareness Film Festival and 1st Place at the My Hero Project Film Festival!

Listen is as we talk about the awareness that Joni had that led her to embark upon this project and particularly this topic. Our discussion is one that will make you pause and consider:
  • What is the role of the media in our society and in the portrayal and direction of women in our culture?
  • How has your life been changed by the women in it and the wisdom that they've shared with you?
  • How has your own inner wisdom grown as you've grown older in your own life?
  • What unique role do women play as they enter the "third fire" phase of their lives?

And so much more! You really don't want to miss it! It's a great hour, with a great guest, and an incredible discussion!

For those in the mid-Michigan area, the documentary will be aired on WKAR-TV on Thursday, March 14th at 10 PM. Check the website below though for listings in your area, nationally!
