Creating the Positive From a Health Crisis
What do you do when you have a health crisis? We've talked about this issue before but never from this perspective and never with such a fine and shining, real-life example that Scott Westerman and his wife Colleen, a two time ovarian cancer survivor, have provided.

Listen in to today's show as we talk about their journey through Colleen's diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.  Mix that history, add in a sky writer, the MSU Spartan Stadium, the rivalry between MSU and U of M, and Scott's passion as the Executive Director of the MSU Alumni Association and you've got a media event that has catapulted to the national stage.  Even better, the challenge that Scott posed to MSU and UM fans and alums alike has all been in the name of raising awareness of and fundraising for ovarian cancer!

Often on the heels of a health crisis it can be so easy to feel there is little you can do. Scott and Colleen are true testaments to the fact that if you use a little creativity, imagination, and a lot of passion, you can make a tremendous difference - both in your life and the lives of others!
