Carrie Krawiec

Carrie Krawiec is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Birmingham Maple Clinic in Troy, MI and Executive Director of Michigan Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

Carrie provides therapy to individuals, couples, families with children, adolescents, and adults. Areas of specialization include family conflicts between parents and teens, marriage counseling, co-parenting following divorce, step-parenting, peer relationships, family therapy for family-owned business, emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, self-mutilation/cutting and self-esteem. She has had specific training in Parent Management Training-Oregon (PMT-O Specialist); a behavior management technique for parents to utilize with children to prevent and reduce behavior issues in school age children.

In addition to her clinical work Carrie is active with the state professional organization for MFTs; Michigan Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. In her current role as Executive Director of MAMFT Carrie acts as a liaison between therapists, consumers, and state leadership to improve public awareness of mental health issues, link people to resources and services, and educate the public and political stakeholders about the value of Marriage and Family Therapy and Marriage and Family Therapists in Michigan.
