Dr. Stephen Thimmig is the warm hearted veterinarian at the Zeeb Pet Health Center in Dewitt, MI. Dr. Thimmig worked with large animals until 2000 when he suffered a brain aneurysm. His clients (both two and four footed) adore him! He writes a weekly pet column for the community newspaper (Dewitt Bath Review). He is married with five children and three grandchildren. Dr. Thimmig's father was an MD and his mother was a teacher and domestic goddess. He received two undergrad degrees - one in Ag Ed and the other in Animal Husbandry, and received his veterinary degree in 1981. He worked as an Associate Veterinarian for five years at the St. Johns Animal Clinic and purchased Zeeb Pet Health Center (formerly Zeeb Animal Hospital) in 1986.
