Lori Evesque earned her BS in Food and Biological Process Engineering from Purdue University and her MS in Food Science from the University of Illinois. An Advanced Master Gardener, Lori has spent the last 20 years learning how to improve her health and the health of her family through natural means.
Lori is a member of the Seed Savers Exchange. This international organization is dedicated to preserving heirloom and antique vegetables, fruits, and herbs. She has also served as a board member of Fair Food Matters, a non-profit organization based in Kalamazoo, Michigan which provides educational resources for food issues relating to health, environmental responsibility, and social justice.
Lori lives with her husband and two teenage children in Paw Paw, Michigan where they cultivate most of their own fruits and vegetables.
