The Source of Intuition
It's been called the third eye and is located in the center of your forehead.

You may have also heard of it as the Brow Chakra.

Try this experiment with a willing participant:  have the person lie on their back in a comfortable position.  Simply place the palm of your hand about 2-3 inches over the forehead, but do not touch the person.

Close your eyes and become present to the feeling you have on your palm.  Do you feel heat from the forehead?  Maybe a tingling sensation?  Does your hand feel warm?

Most every patient I have ever worked on feels the heat from my hand on their forehead as well.  This is the energy flowing between the Brow Chakra and the palm of your hand.  (Palms are a powerful source of healing energy.)

After trying this easy fun experiement, let me know if you've felt the heat by emailing me at the link above.

The Brow Chakra governs the brain, eyes, ears, and nose in the physical body.  It's also higher level thinking and your intuition as well the channel for wisdom.  The color is a deep indigo, or purple.

Dr. Christine Northrup offers these areas that are affected with Brow Chakra dysfunctions: brain tumors, stroke, neurological disturbances, blindness, deafness, tinnitus, Parkinson’s disease, learning disabilities, and seizures.

Keeping this vortex center open and balanced is similar to others': place both hands, one on top of the other over the Chakra - in this cae on your forehead.  Imagine a deep color purple radiating through your hands into your forehead.  Remember, in your minds' eye, to have the light swirl in a clockwise rotation.

There is one more Chakra - #7 which  I'll cover next week:  the Crown Chakra.
