Kathleen Deeds is a co-owner of Ascension Star Bookshop located within the Institute of Bioenergy Studies and the Institute for Transformational Hypnotherapy in Okemos, Michigan. The bookshop focuses on spirituality, healing and transformation. They are both healers and teachers in private practice as well as bring healing energies into the shop.

Kathleen Deeds focused her career path in Social Work working with families and children. She presently practices as a Hypnotherapist, Esoteric Healer, Reiki Master and Manual Medicine. The Institutes provides education in Hypnotherapy certification and energy studies in Esoteric Healing.
