Kate Durda

Kate Durda, MA, is a developmental psychologist, shamanic practitioner, and educator. She has had extensive training with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, Sandra Ingerman, and other shamanic practitioners and indigenous shamans from around the world. She has also studied Esoteric Healing (International Network of Esoteric Healing Training - INEH) and Reiki.

Her work has included teaching shamanic practices and facilitating workshops in U.S. and internationally, and facilitating shamanic healing. She offers a community drumming circle with Stephanie, and does work with other communities to help them set up their own circles. Currently she is collaborating with Sandra Ingerman (author of “Soul Retrieval”) and the University of Michigan (Integrative Medicine Department and the Cardiology Department) on a pilot research study of the efficacy of spirituality with heart attack survivors (methodology is focused on S. Ingerman’s Medicine for the Earth methodology). Kate can be reached at spiritweavers@gmail.com .
