Life Is A Journey

Claire Levy

For much of my life there has been a secret belief agonizingly gnawing away in the hidden recesses of my mind that “If only I can get – ‘this’. If only I can achieve ‘that’, then - then I would be safe, then I would be satisfied, then I would be fulfilled… then I would really be happy. The unvarnished truth is that there is nothing to get, nothing to achieve, in fact, no place at all to land – life is a journey.  And on this journey we have a choice. We can either struggle through this voyage we call life clinging on with white knuckles, kicking and screaming all the way - or we can simply enjoy the ride. The choice is ours. Either way, like it or not, life will be a journey.

Each of us arrives in this world in our newborn state, fresh and new. In fact, despite any outer appearance to the contrary, we are perfect in every way. In addition, we each come into life with the same underlying desire from life. The common element for each of us is to simply be happy. So, if we truly desire to be happy and we are already perfect, why is it so many of us are not happy, so much of the time? Why is it, for so many of us for so much of the time life is a white knuckled enterprise? Beyond philosophy, modern science has recently discovered why. And… the answer is simply astonishing.

Candace Pert, scientist extraordinaire and author of the book ‘Molecules of Emotion’, tells us that buried deep within the consciousness that is the makeup of each cell in our body there can lurk unseen cell memories. These cell memories are the physiological residue of high impact emotions we have experienced throughout our lives. These cell memories create limiting beliefs, disempowering habits, treacherous vows and create the ground for illness and dis-ease in our lives. Although these cell memories are lodged in the cells of our bodies and are responsible for so much misery and suffering, modern technology has not yet discovered a way to find them. And, modern science and medicine has no protocol for helping us get rid of them.

In the September issue of CoSozo Living, the story appeared of how ‘the Journey’ was born. This leading edge technology has proven to be extremely effective for both finding and eliminating these cell memories. This process, now being taught and practiced world-wide in over 35 countries and 22 languages has allowed countless people of all ages, of all cultures, of all backgrounds, and all life experience to access and remove these powerful drivers of unconscious behavior and limitations in life. The process is simple and effective.

Imagine you have just returned from a visit to your health care professional. The news is devastating. After exhaustive tests and significant cost you have just been told, “There is nothing wrong with you. This pain in your body is chronic. You’ll just have to learn to live with it.” You know somewhere deep down inside this is a lie. It’s a cover-up. You intuitively know there is an answer - but where, how?

Our physical and mental health is always an outward reflection of our inner, emotional state of balance. In other words, our emotional state is always the foundation for our health. Addressing health solely from the level of the physical only helps temporarily, sometimes not at all. To change the physical and mental expression of our health we need to address our emotional state.  The process called ‘The Journey’ does just that.

Here’s how it works.

The key in the Emotional Journey is to drop down through the layers of emotion – the emotions felt in the body. It is essential to stay out of the story about the emotion – out of analytical thoughts and put your attention and awareness onto feeling the pure emotion in the body.

As each emotion is felt, there will be an invitation to drop though that emotion into the next feeling, the one that lies underneath that. This continues through the layers of feeling until one has the experience of a Source-like state of consciousness…a sense of expansion, spaciousness – as if one with everything. This is not a process of listening to your mind-talk, of wallowing in the story or of analyzing why you are feeling what you are feeling. It simply is a process of dropping through the emotional layers, like peeling back the layers of an onion, to get to the core of your being.

At some point there may be no sense of feeling or an inability to identify or name what is being felt. This is called the Unknown Zone. It is completely normal. The qualified practitioner knows exactly what to do to gently, gracefully, and skillfully help you to move forward in the process.

Then there is an invitation to come to a campfire. This is a fire of unconditional love and all acceptance – the fire of life itself. This is a comforting and warm place to be. A mentor of higher consciousness joins at the campfire. This mentor is one in whose safety and wisdom you can rest and trust. One who will help guide and support you in this process.

The campfire is the place to really empty out all the feelings and all of the emotions that were felt, but usually not expressed, at an earlier time when they were initially experienced. This is an essential step. It is this process that opens the cell to expose the trapped cell memory that has been blocking the cell receptors and blocking the health, wellness, balance and greatness in life that could be here for you, from fully and effortlessly manifesting.

Once empty of all the old dross of unexpressed feelings, in that deep state of consciousness you are guided into the forgiveness process. This is a critical step. It is this radical level of forgiveness that can only be effective in this deep state of consciousness. This extracts the cell memory and uproots it, setting it and you free from its disempowering effects.

The next step is a future integration. It is an elegant, powerful, and fun way to ensure that the healing will continue to deepen and evolve over time.

At the end, still in this very deep level of consciousness, profound wisdom is available. You are encouraged to rest in this consciousness and while doing so, write a letter to yourself giving ideas, pointers, tips on how to live your life now from this healed, empowered state of being. It is a very powerful way to bring what has been learned in this Journey into your life and into your living today.

Sometimes after finishing a process, one can feel a little tender or vulnerable or even a little disoriented for a very short while. This is a very positive sign. The cellular structure of the body is simply catching up to the significant shifting and changing in consciousness. Relax. You will be given guidance on exactly how to allow this restructuring at the cellular level to be effortless and complete.

The invitation here is to trust yourself and the process. It has already helped hundreds of thousands around the world of all socio-economic backgrounds, cultural and age groups to heal and live into more empowered, healthier, more authentic, happier lives.

It is important to note – there is no way this work can harm you. Emotions are simply Energy-in-motion. If you are authentic, no emotion can last more than a few moments. It is holding onto them that causes the suffering. As you let emotions simply come and go - as they will naturally, the body can access its natural healing capabilities and do what it was intended to do, what it was designed to do – be healthy.

The pain and suffering we feel in life is from repressed, stuffed down, pushed away emotions.

Some say they are afraid of “opening a can of worms.” The only worm can you could open is listening to your mind-talk telling you a story about your emotions. Emotions in and of themselves are neutral and a healthy part of life. Being able to feel is a wholesome and natural part of living, of being human. What has become normal, but not natural, is listening to your mind analyze, blame, and make up stories about the emotions.

So, yes, the common element around the world and for each of us individually is to simply be happy. Is it possible to live happily in each moment? Absolutely it is. All that needs to be done is to get rid of the cell memories that block, that limit, that sabotage your natural state of happiness – your natural state of health, your natural state of being. Then life is a wonder-full journey and you can truly relax and enjoy the ride.

The most natural and healthy part of the ride is feeling the vast array of emotions that are a natural part of the boundless experience available in life. Learning how to live this substantial part of your life, the emotional part, is a critical piece of the happiness puzzle. And when you recognize that life is a journey… you will be able to finally relax and be happy… always.

Journey well… enjoy the ride.
